Regionalism
As regionalism becomes more and more important in order to remain competitive within the state of Indiana, West Central Indiana is taking strides to boost regional efforts.

An initiative of the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce to create an action-oriented network of individuals and groups who are familiar with each other's regional assets and ready to seek collaborative partnerships on the local, state and national levels. Representation is included from the following counties: Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo.

The Wabash River RDA exists to pursue economic opportunities in partnership with the State of Indiana on behalf of the following counties: Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo. Established in 2015, the Wabash River Regional Development Authority (RDA) provides the mechanism to raise the profile of worthy projects while also serving the conduit to receive state funding to be invested in these projects.
